"They also say that 'The Glory of Love,' written in 1936, is from the movie, 'Beaches,' which is from 1988."

That song is also VERY prominently featured in GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER?, and for years I thought it was written for that movie. I don't remember how I learned otherwise, but when I did, I was quite surprised.
