I assumed Bologna did the opening night, but it still sucks for Dolce, who did the same number of performances a week.
Since the producers petitioned to have 3 Billys share a Tony nomination, they should've done the same for 2 Michaels.
That said, I still believe the Tony decision for the 3 Billys went against their own rules: 1. that the eligible nominee performed on opening night and 2. that the Tony voters saw him/her. In the latter case, Tony voters are urged to vote only in categories in which they've seen ALL the nominees.
But the Tony voters were not required to see all 3 Billys, just one of them.
