| Bill Hutton originated the title role in the 1992 Broadway show, co-produced by Zev Bufman, and got a Tony nomination for Featured Actor. It was his Broadway debut, and he hasn't been back on the Great White Way since. One online bio says Hutton has done a lot of regional theater and a number of charity concerts. And there's video of him and Dale Kristien doing an Andrew Lloyd Webber tribute on YouTube; it was posted in 2013, but it's hard to tell when that concert was. Hutton sang ''Close Every Door'' from ''Joseph'' and still sounds pretty amazing. |
