But not very many." Interesting. I would say we have plenty of that type relative to the amount of roles that require it. But a lot of new shows don't have roles that need or want the type you're describing, if I correctly understand what you mean. I definitely agree with you about Donny Osmond. Maybe if LITTLE JOHNNY JONES had been a success, he would have done more musical theater. I just looked it up and saw that he had only one Broadway role after that, as a replacement Gaston n BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. And, of course, he didn't play Joseph on Broadway. I wonder if he was scared of or angry at the critics for LJJ? |
