| I saw her in the Petula Clark "Sound of Music" years ago in London. Clark was fine, though her voice and arrangements sounded a little pop-ish (like her hit "Downtown"), June Bronhill sang gorgeously as Mother Abbess, and Ms. Blackman had a great presence and looked smashing as Elsa. Rest in peace -- she was probably the best Bond girl, too! |
