As is happening in Asia, however, while there may be a major reduction in transmission in the US by August, the second someone with the virus gets back in the community, it starts spreading like wildfire again.
Usually, with these second waves, communities fight it through immunity (from the people who have already survived it) and a vaccine. The vaccine isn't likely to arrive for 12-18 months.
Would you be willing to get Covid by going to a Bway show before a vaccine? I certainly wouldn't, particularly for yet another jukebox musical. |
