I really enjoyed watching this. I thought that Chloe (the part played here by Ari Graynor and in the original cast by Christine Baranski) is probably a very hard part to play. She seems kind of pretentious and self-absorbed for the first act, and only shows the layers underneath fairly late in the play. I imagine Christine Baranski was fantastic, though.
Anyone have memories of the original run? I did not see the recent Second Stage production, which got a mixed reception. |
