And amc closed it suddenly two years ago. A Korean company is refurbishing for 4d movies but it hasn’t opened yet. Amc took over the kabuki theater. They did refurbish metreon with reclining seats and special screens. So they do upgrade some and dump others.
I think a-list membership has helped the bottom line a lot with increase attendance increasing concession stands (which is pure profit).
