When do we go back to a theater?

I am as eager as anyone to return to theater-going, but realistically how can anyone who isn’t immune or vaccinated attend a live performance in a broadway theater? Estimates are that vaccines are at least a year away. Are people on this board planning to see a show and possibly risk sickness and possible death from this contagious virus? Also, I doubt producers will open any production until ticket sales will allow them to break even. I don’t see tourists from USA or abroad, or locals of a certain age, buying tickets until it is safe. I wish it were not so, but until there is universal vaccination I don’t understand how the lights of broadway will shine again. Be well everyone!
