I think Come from Away might have a special resonance, and it has a low running cost.
Dear Evan Hansen had good box office and a low running cost, but its tone may be out of sync with the times.
I think Moulin Rouge and Chicago will come back eventually, but perhaps not until the tourists start returning. The "big four" are all heavily tourist-reliant as well; they've all been open at least 9 years, so every local who wants to see them already has. |
