| The show literally turned a profit decades ago, its running cost is extremely low, and it has powerful name recognition with visitors to the city. Like other productions that return--but, I suspect, to an even greater extent--its chances for an uptick in box office intake will likely increase if there are fewer alternatives for ticket buyers to choose. |
