| Mark Setlock was superb, but FULLY COMMITTED is pretty thin gruel in terms of writing -- a 10-minute sketch stretched to nearly 2 hours. The updated script also doesn't do a very satisfying job of incorporating advancements to the restaurant industry, so it feels dated. FUDDY MEERS is a lot more compelling as a play, and the original cast, to a person, was terrific. Marylouise Burke especially so. |
