| I was in high school and my English teacher had twofer coupons on his desk for THE APPLE TREE with Harris (or matinee performances with Newman). The first performance I attended was with Harris and she was amazing. She clicked with the audience from the moment she uttered her first line. Curiosity caused me to see Phyllis in the role shortly after. She was fine but I knew I needed to see Harris one more time. And once again, she had won over the audience within seconds of making her first entrance on stage. |
