Definitely makes sense for larger-scale concert tours.
This summer is a wash for tours.
It will probably be months before there is a "plan" for large scale gatherings. As others have mentioned, probably nil until there is a vaccine.
There will probably be a "grace period" for public adjustment and to see if there are any more outbreaks going on, plus hoping for some economic recovery. The last thing a band wants to do is put millions in for a major production to rehearse and develop for 3-4 months then have it be halted altogether for another outbreak and have the entire outing canceled.
Might also be a wee bit harder to sell those $250 tickets if unemployment hops along around 15% or more. |
