If people have immunity after infected and the test results for antibodies is 50% of population infected like Iceland is reporting, then things could open up before a vaccine. But if immunity doesn’t occur after infection, the a different path will be followed. Is vaccine going to be really affective? Nobody knows. The flu shot is a guess for that season. Coronovirus might be also. Do you think if it isn’t 100% effective than theaters never open? No way. People will risk it at some point.

San Fran has about 1000 confirmed cases out of 800,000 inhabitants. The entire bay are is around 6000 cases with 100 deaths for 5-6million population. Are we behind the curve or as some suspect we were infected last year and many wrote it off as flu. Only antibody testing will confirm that because no body knows yet and it’s just conjecture.

Yesterday someone in my online book club said that his 500 bed hospital has 2 covid cases right now.

With all these variable there is little point in predicting anything more than a week or two in advance.
