| It was wonderful. I'm glad it was successful on so many fronts-- as a fund-raiser, as a spirit-lifter, as a moment to reflect, as a shared event. The set-piece that featured Ben Platt's OVER THE RAINBOW alongside Judith Light's recounting of the song's provenance was devastating. Jason Alexander was perfect, but I have to say I appreciated every single one of the participants (special shout-outs to Billy Porter, Idina Menzel, Cynthia Erivo, Shoshana Bean...oh, they were all great) |
