I wonder why Whitty would give vent to his anger now, more than a year after the closing. From the sound of the linked piece, Whitty's Facebook post seemed pretty vitriolic. I wonder what happened that lead him to his emotional outburst online.
I hope he's okay and that his emotional/mental health isn't suffering due to covid-19. I know nothing at all about his health, but such outbursts out of the blue can be characteristic of people suffering from depression and/or bi-polar issues. And the current situation cannot be easy for people who were already dealing with these issues. My impression is that this pandemic is going to leave in its wake a greater need for mental health care in our society than every before.
Again, I have no idea if Whitty has any health issues at all, physical, mental, or emotional.
But, when I read the description of his post in the linked article, absent of any other context, it was the first thing that came to mind. |
