I found American psycho fascinating was glad to have seen it.
I'd be surprised to see it revived. I think it got in just under the wire of a cultural revolution. I can't imagine seeing that amount of sexual violence against women portrayed on the stage in our current "woke' environment. Paritucally in the overall slick, glamourous look of the show.
Again, I enjoyed it, but I don't think it would fly now. Not sure it flew then! |
