| Just a reminder that the uncle character is in the source material. Uncle Jack, played by Barry Fitzgerald. He's not gay, but he's there, and at the end he's going to marry and move in with the character played by Dorothy Stickney. In the seemingly lost original television play (even the script is supposedly lost), Uncle Jack was played J. Pat O'Malley. |
