| Agree. There was much to love about A CATERED AFFAIR but it was derailed by Harvey Fierstein. He gave his character too much focus and one of the best songs. The gay angle didn't work for me; the story wasn't about that. Still, Leslie Kritzer, Faith Prince, and Tom Wopat were great and I liked much of the score. In total, a missed opportunity. |
