I simply don't understand the need to make such a grand pronouncement (though the mayor is being somewhat vague). Things are changing by the day. Let things play out month by month. Or three months at a time. The idea we need to cancel things for the rest of the year seems a touch overdramatic. We MAY have to. But I don't think it's a clear necessity at this point. To say nothing of the fact that a theater is considerably different than a concert or sporting event.
