I thought it needed tweaking but was bursting with originality, energy and heart.
It had a fantastic score ("New York Makes Me Hard" being an exception - it was truly a blemish) and what a shame it was never recorded.
The last 15 minutes had me in floods of tears ("Dear Mr Haring" I will never forget) and the last few seconds left me breathless.
I hope it gets a revisit one day - lots of wonderful material and a story/artist worth celebrating. |
