| You're braver than I am, although eventually I'll retrieve the DVD from my family and sit down and watch the movie. BTW, although the original '45 film is still regarded as something of a minor classic and quite good in its own way (if a little dated), there was a TV remake in '59 with Robert Preston and Claudette Colbert, which may have eliminated the subplot regarding the two boys. I remember seeing it when I was 10, which was probably a few years before the original debuted on network TV. |
