I only got a credit even though California had a stay at home order with penalties for violating. I talked to a supervisor that said credit was it and I should be grateful to Alaska airline in getting that.
They ran all four flights that day with less than 10 passengers on each plane. A friend of mine is a travel agent and he suspects the airline kept losing money in flights to meet airport gate requirements to not lose the gate in the future. Wasteful fuel and environmental impact to keep a gate.
I agree to wait until airline cancels. American I get credit but can apply for refund by separate process. Going through the motions now. |
