Your trip sounds exactly like the one I was to do April 3-9, six days, airline and hotel non-refundable and tickets for a show at 54 Below.
I booked the flight and hotel on Orbitz. Though Delta now seems to be doing credits for a future flight, there was something on their website to click on, and I was refunded the cost of the plane ticket. On Orbitz, where I had booked the flight and hotel, there was a link for additional help. I clicked on something regarding my hotel reservation, and it said I would have the full amount (a lot) credited back to my credit card, which it was after a couple of weeks. 54 Below has the most wonderful staff, and they gave a choice to get a credit for the future or a refund, and since I couldn't predict when I would be able to go, I chose the refund, and that's been refunded. In all, everyone came through. I agree you should see if your flight is canceled and re-booked to another. In that case you should be able to get a refund, but a credit for the future, and they are being very lenient on the dates, isn't so bad. Good luck! Also, the dates for when things will happen again keep going out further and further. Everything in early June might still be canceled. |
