| I'll bet that's the one I attended live with Catherine Malfitano as Rose. It was a special treat to hear this British broadcast. "Street Scene" has always been one of my favorites. I sure wish the Met would do it; especially since they just did Porgy. Last time I saw it was at the late, lamented Di Capo Opera Company. I guess Amore could do it, too. Maybe even the new ly reformed NYC Opera would do it; after all, they did "Candide" recently. |
