I was at Florence Klotz' Memorial at Sardi's when Stritch came up to the podium and I thought "She only worked with Flossie in "Show Boat" so what does she have to talk about?"
Out of her mouth was "There's a lot of things in this business I don't like..." and I thought "Oh, she is going to talk about herself" ( and she did ). |
