| Wow wow WOW...NEVER thought I would EVER get to see this!! Google All Arts Vault & then search on there...incredible work from a cast starring James Earl Jones & Raul Julia...MAGNIFICENT!! Height of Mr Papp's era at The Delacorte, long before I was old enough to be aware/able to attend these on my own with friends, so thought the chances of seeing productions from this time there were shot. Maybe the clearest, most vivid production of LEAR I have ever seen...beyond grateful, & dearly hope they keep this available online for a long while! Perfect comfort as we face this venue having to be closed this summer... |
