Saw her in KENNEDY'S CHILDREN and THE YOUNG MAN FROM ATLANTA.

A brilliant actress who will be missed.

Thank you for posting this beautiful and comprehensive obituary for one of the greatest actors I had the good fortune to see several times. In addition to YOUNG MAN and several of the films mentioned, she was superb in several off-B'way plays: LOVELY SUNDAY; NECESSARY TARGETS; CYCLING PAST THE MATTERHORN; and IN MASKS OUTRAGEOUS AND AUSTERE, probably her last work on a NY stage. I'm glad I had the pleasure to speak with her once when we were at a performance of her daughter's.

She will indeed. I just watched her last night in the film The Group.

Her performance in The Young Man from Atlanta was extraordinary. I vividly remember it to this day.
