Is that Galecki’s house? There was nothing in the shelves, which could have been cleaned off. My guess is a common room in his apartment building that he reserved for use. But that is a total guess.

I would guess either the basement of his house (I doubt he is living in an apartment for the duration) or a virtual background.

Because Seth said during interval that Galecki was closing the doors to get back to position.

I was thinking ny apartment (looked like old paneled room of historic apartment), but you are probably correct that he lives in LA and in a house.

A quick google shows that Galecki lives in California in a six-bedroom house built in 1929, so that was probably his house. It looks like a house built in that time period.
