| After the play, there was a brief chat with the cast, and Julie White became very emotional about remembering the show and started getting teary. It was very touching. She focused on how much she enjoyed being with that particular cast, but I imagine she was also thinking about her life before and after. Although a Tony doesn't mean much in Hollywood, it means something in the New York theater world, and winning that Tony probably opened professional opportunities for her. It's probably not an exaggeration to say that show changed her life. |
