It was so thrilling to see practically the whole original cast at that ''Company'' reunion in 1993. But my biggest takeaway was Dean Jones. I had known him only from goofy Disney movies (like ''The Love Bug''), so I assumed he was just a wonderful light comedy actor. But Jones blew me away by how much he poured his heart and soul into ''Being Alive.'' I've seldom seen it sung more movingly. Did anyone see Jones in ''Into the Light'' (1986)? ... Anyway, I'm glad he got a second shot at ''Company'' with this special concert.
