I agree with you about that particular moment, but though of course I have no way of knowing this for sure, I have always felt that Benanti bellowed or screamed that line in exactly the way she was instructed to by Arthur Laurents. I just don't think she would have made the decision to scream it so loudly and wildly on her own. |
