| Jay Records "Complete" Recordings | |

| It was discussed in another thread that the Jay Records recording of "The King and I" is mostly complete - Even though they state that it is the complete recording of the score. This made is curious as to what is missing from the recording, as well as what might be missing from other recordings by them. I remember having a discussion with someone about their recording of "The Cradle Will Rock". It's stated that it is the complete score with complete dialogue. But someone told me that actually wasn't the case. (Though they never told me what was missing,) I generally like the Jay recordings, but if they're not truly complete, why are they listed as such? Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. | |
