Karin Wolfe was a late in the game replacement in "Gigi" and was not exactly a newcomer. Born in 1944, she was nearly 30 years old when she played Gigi on Broadway. She had a small role in "Bye Bye Birdie" on Broadway and understudied Kim McAfee and took over as Kim later in the run.
Wolfe went on to be a cast member on "Days of Our Lives" until 1975. Her last IMDB film credit is in 1999. She is currently a realtor.
