This electrifying concert — previously filmed live at Joe’s Pub this past winter — illuminates the vibrancy of NYC’s hidden LGBTQ+ community during the '20s and '30s. The concert will be available to stream for 48 hours for free on Playbill.combeginning at 8 PM ET June 20, to help raise funds for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The concert stars Kevin Smith Kirkwood (Kinky Boots), James Jackson Jr. (A Strange Loop), Stephen DeRosa (Boardwalk Empire), The Skivvies' Nick Cearley, Aaron Kaburick (Mrs. Doubtfire), Devin Ilaw (Miss Saigon), Seth Sikes (Seth Sikes Sings), Joe Kinosian (Murder for Two), and features special guest hosts Beth Kirkpatrick (Hello, Dolly!), Gideon Glick (Significant Other), and Telly Leung (Glee). The concert is directed by Travis Russ (Life Jacket Theatre Company) with music direction and arrangements by Joe Kinosian (Murder for Two). |
