| Yes...Nail in coffin if the Strand goes too. I adore looking around bookstores; loved the fact that if one were lonely, one could sit in Barnes & Noble till closing & read (reminded me of my college's bookstore in that regard); it was one of the few stores left to buy cds, which YES, I will ALWAYS keep along with my cassettes & vinyls, & in fact have had to go onto Amazon several times during these free Met Opera streams to frantically buy a few cds from outside sellers on there before they go out of print. And there was something comforting, in decades past, of knowing that every ten blocks or so stood the nourishment of a book or "record" store...:( :( |
