I’m a bit confused by the book’s target audience. It is too brief/cursory for a seasoned theatergoer and too expensive to be read by the average theatergoer. I’ll keep reading, but I cannot recommend it. Should something drastically change, I’ll be happy to return and eat my hat.
I should be getting my copy at the beginning of the week. Sorry to hear that it might not be as good as I had hoped. Then again, I'm glad to "finish the hat" with you if it turns out better than you think so far. :-)
