Also on Luft: I saw her in Extremeties with Farrah Fawcett when I was a kid and I remember the consensus among the adults I was with was that she wasn't much of an actress. I doubt she could have pulled off what Buckley did.
Answering my own question I glanced through some of the other hit shows at the time so I'm thinking maybe people like Karen Akers, Maureen McGovern, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Christine Andreas, Ellen Greene, Diana Canova could have auditioned. |
