| I picked the orchestra because I thought you could best process it that way. You have the same issues in other departments. And just to close the loop, we are asking audiences to sit in a theatre in a mask, a little too close to the next person even at 50% capacity (something that is already giving the producer an ulcer) and now we have to ask them to pay top dollar (so the producer will not have to be hospitalized) and now we are going to tell them that the orchestra is going to be anemic? (I won't even go there re the virtual; I think it is a non-starter to end all non-starters). This is why we these conversations are had, it quickly becomes obvious that we are going to have to wait the additional year that Dr. Fauci tells us to expect for the return on something approaching normal. Sad news, bad news, but what else is possible? |
