| No singing if I recall correctly, but dancers breathe pretty hard, especially if they are doing partnering in close proximity. Maybe "La Plume de Ma Tante" which won a Special Tony Award in 1959 as well as being nominated for Best Musical, which I think relied a lot on mime and movement, including a famous bell ringing skit, which I believe sometimes is on YouTube. Among the cast of "La Plume" was Pierre Olaf (best known for "Carnival!" and replacements include Robert Clary ("New Faces of 1952", "Hogan's Heroes"), Joan Fagan ("Donnybrook") Liliane Montevecchi ("Nine", "Grand Hotel") and Mary Ann Niles (first wife of Bob Fosse). |
