| "In my day," one often had to pay $ for those internships in exchange for classes & Equity points for work done on all the Equity main stage productions...Williamstown & NY Stage & Film still charge a fortune! I wonder if Bat members at least got those benefits, or time to hold down part time work at "survival" jobs. The performance opportunities they are given in the Flea space are golden...the costs of producing off-off on one's own have become so expensive. |
