The article should leave you feeling sad. it should leave all of us feeling sad. the commercial for profit and not for profit theater in NYC is DOA. It has been for some time. I only wish that we could vote the entitled white theatre privilege out of power in November the way we will our Resident. it is embarrassing what Broadway and off-Broadway have become.
I saw HAMILTON 11 times, 3 at the Public, 6 Broadway, San Francisco tour and London. I am done. If I never see another piece of live theater, I will have seen the best of it in my lifetime. |
