James Grissom seems to be using his Twitter account to burnish his own reputation as a take-no-prisoners truth teller. Whatever. He also tweeted this:
"Editor of major magazine to whom I submitted THE THEATRE AT THE END OF THE WORLD called to apologize for not publishing the piece. It passed all legal scrutiny, but magazine has a dependency on theatre advertising & feared the"risk." Fuck him, and so much for bold publishing."
I find it hard to believe that any editor worth his salt would publish the article, at least in the form in which it appears on Medium -- not because of its content, but because it's bloated, overwritten, meandering and navel-gazing. |
