Me too. Although I agree with some of the points in Grissom's article, the whole tone of the piece is quite shocking. Even in a piece that's obviously intended as an opinion piece rather than an objective report, I've never seen a piece by any respected, professional journalist/writer that's so harsh and vitriolic in attacking various individuals by name. I hope this isn't "the new normal," but I fear it is -- especially where self-publishing is involved. |
