| Rufus Wainwright just broadcast a live performance from the Paramour Estate in Los Angeles with a socially distanced string section and band to celebrate the release of his new album. I haven't watched the full thing yet, but was surprised to see what he opened the show with... a performance of Jerry Herman's 'Dear World' (the title song... not the entire score.) Gosh, those lyrics feel tailor made for the times we're living in! Link to the Facebook performance below. (It actually begins about 15 minutes in) |

| Thanks DistantDrumming for posting this. I just listened to the entire concert. The acoustics are outstanding as is the "band." Of course, Rufus sounds wonderful. | |

| Not that I'm aware of, but I suppose you could check his YouTube page to see if it gets posted there. If you're asking because you don't have an account, you may not need a FB account to view it. If you're asking because you're boycotting FB, then not sure what to tell you. | |

| I doubt the OP was asking because (s)he was boycotting FB. I KNOW I'm asking because I don't have an account. I don't see it on Wainwright's page or anywhere else that I can access and I would very much like to. | |
