He wrote, directed and acted on Broadway. Those credits can be listed on a single piece of paper compared to the ream that would be required to cover his film and TV credits. But they at least give us enough of a hook to honor the memory of a great entertainer.
His directing track record was appallingly bad, his acting antedated the theatre-going era of almost all of us. see link. Any memories of any of it? |
