| It seems, to me, a little tone-deaf for a white male producer to announce a revival by a white male playwright, with a white male director and a while male star, amidst pleas and calls from the theatre community (and the world) to make Broadway a more equitable industry? (I say this as a white male.) I know Scott Rudin doesn’t give a rat’s fat behind what people think, but it seems like he might have been better served by sitting on this news for a little while longer. |
