| I'm so with you on that point. Even a six month run in a new script would give a play event status. Even Midler went out on a limb of sorts in Logan's piece on Sue Mengers (which is never mentioned in discussions of her Dolly phenom). No, Logan is far from an unkown, but it was synergy of star and material that had no built-in audience. |
