I don't think you'd be lost, but I don't think you'd like it. It's a "fly on the wall" play with no/little throughline.

Into like shows with plots? Comedywest post clued me in that the show isn’t for me.

Jon DeVries, who was in the first three (or four?), gives a brief intro to get you up to date.

It is just a family talking about personal and world, very Chekhovian. Like you're eavesdropping on a dinner coversation.
